2 Powerful Analyses
Simple Estimate Controlled Comparison
Why do it? It puts a real dollar figure on the impact of development. So, instead of hoping L&D looks good in a high-stakes meeting, you walk in with proof it pays for itself. It gives the business a number that holds up under scrutiny. You get unquestionable proof the results came from the development program, not just from a good quarter everyone was already having.
How does it work? It looks at your development group's numbers before and after and shows you exactly how much they improved business performance. It compares two groups — people who went through the development and people who didn't — to show precisely how much of the business impact is due to it.
What do you need to consider? You can run it with any size group. Whether you have 10 people who went through the development program or 10,000, the statistical math LDImpact uses will produce reliable results. Before starting it, ensure you have at least 600 employees in total for this analysis: 300 in the development group and 300 in the comparison group. Always keep your two groups roughly the same size to ensure a fair and reliable comparison. LDImpact's statistical math running behind the scenes requires these larger, equal-sized groups to deliver accurate results.
